Une ceremonie ordinaire du monastere de SongZalin a 5km de Zhongdian, capitale de la province autonome tibetaine du yunnan.
Le Tibet officiel (et accessible sous haute surveillance c'est a dire moyenant finance ...chine colonialiste ultra capitaliste oblige) est a quelques kilometres, mais Zhongdian est bien la porte du Tibet, elle a meme change tres serieuseument son nom pour ''Shangrila'', le paradis bouddhiste, plus approprie a son developpement touristique!Le Lijiang studio y a un espace
artistique y et on est alle faire un petit reperage.
La difference avec le monde Naxi est tres visible malgre la courte distance (4h de route) et le fait que les Naxis soient d'origines Tibetaines. La c'est presque Tintin au Tibet, les animaux se balladent libres et tranquilles et les yaks courrent les rues, Les camions sont decores comme des temples bouddhistes, on s' eloigne de la rigueur chinoise, on respire mieux ( relativement) ...

Le village/monastere de Songzanlin vaut vraiment le detour, un village perche a flanc de colline, ou vivent pres de 600 lamas, les moines bouddhiste tibetain ( en fait ils ont droit a tout...viande, sexe, telephone portable, rien a voir avec l'idee qu'on se fait )...tout en haut il y a 3 immenses temples dont un qui abrite un Bouddha geant (environ 15m) bien hallucinant!

An ordinary ceremony in Songzanlin monastery, 5km of Zhongdian, headtown of the Yunnan's autonomous Tibetan province.
The official Tibet (accessible under high survey which means money in chinese ultra capitalist colonial words) is few kilometers away, but Zhongdian is really the door of Tibet, it has even changed its name to ''Shangrila'', the bouddhist heaven, no joke, it would be very usefull for its touristic devlopment!Lijiang studio has got a small artistic space there and we went to check it out.
The difference with the Naxi world is important despite the small distance (4h road) and the fact that naxis's origines are Tibetans. Its almost a Tibetan postal card, animals are free, yaks are wandering everywhere and trucks are decorated like bouddhist temples, far from the chinese rigor...we can breath better (relativly).
The Songzanlin village/monastery, on a hill, is worth the trip, 600 lamas live there (the bouddhists monks,but there are far from what we think, they can actually eat meat, have sex and mobil phones!). Up the hill are 3 massive temples and inside one of them a hallucinating giant 15m bouddha !
